Our farm is lied in a delightful area, on a small hill surrounding the Maremma Park a protected area characterized by an incredible variety of natural environments.
Also to be appreciated are the numerous buzzards which fly with such skill in the air and which share with us the spectacle of colours which the Maremma offers.
The sea (Marina di Alberese) is only 15 km away. The Tuscan coast offers beach lovers a wide choice of sandy beaches and rocky seabeds.
At a distance of 20 km we find the beach of Marina di Grosseto while at 25 km from the farm the beach of Osa and the village of Talamone. The beaches of Castiglione della Pescaia are about 30 km away, while the splendid coves of the Argentario are 40 km away; a little further, at 45 km, the marvelous beach of Cala Violina.
For a cultural walk, the historic center of Grosseto with its hexagonal walls is only 9 km away, while at 15 km we find the archaeological site of Roselle.
For nature lovers, in addition to the Maremma Park, we find the Diaccia Botrona Nature Reserve 30 km away and the WWF Oasis of Orbetello Lagoon and Lake Burano a little further away.
Going south for about 50 km we meet, near Capalbio, the Tarot Garden, the artistic park designed by Niki de Saint Phalle.
In the inland of Maremma, at 60/70 km from the farm, the Città del Tufo di Saturnia with its thermal baths, then Pitigliano, Sovana and Sorano with the Etruscan necropolis and the mysterious Vie Cave.
We conclude with the summit of Mount Amiata that reaches 1738 meters above sea level and for those who want to go a little further, at 80 km we find the beautiful city of art of Siena.
